PlayBoard NI today welcome the regional launch of the high level statement 'Children's Play and Leisure: promoting a balanced approach'. This statment has been prepared by the Health and Safety Executive in Great Britian in partnership with Play Safety Forum (PSF) and is endorsed by the Health and Safety Exective for Northern Ireland.
To be launched this afternoon at Stormont by OFMDFM Junior Ministers Jonathan Bell and Jennifer McCann, the statement provides a clear recognition that all children should have the opportunity to play and that playing and risk go hand in hand.
