PlayBoard celebrate National Playday 2010!
This year’s theme was ‘Our Place’
Our place! helped to promote children as valued members of our communities. The campaign recognised the benefits of being part of a community and encouraged opportunities to get to know each other, across the generations.
The campaign put children’s needs at the heart of our community spaces with its main aim to support children to develop their own independence and freedom to play outdoors where they live.
Approximately 1000 children and young people decended on Oxford Island on Wednesday 4th August 2010 for a day of fun filled activities.
