What We Do » Networks & Forums
PlayBoard is represented on a number of local and national networks and forums in our quest to advocate for the child’s right to play.
National Children’s Play Policy Forum
The Children's Play Policy Forum is a discussion group that brings together leading play agencies, government departments and other bodies to focus on play matters within the broader scope of national policy, especially that which relates to children and young people.
All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG)
The APPG on play meets to consider topics relating to children's play and take action on current issues affecting children's right to play freely. The group enables MPs and peers to keep up to date on the latest developments in children's play and decide on actions, which influence political decision making processes.
Play Safety Forum
The Play Safety Forum is an independent forum hosted by Play England as part of Play England’s work to research, develop and advocate effective policies and good practice for play provision. Funding to support the Play Safety Forum is provided by the Department for Culture Media and Sport.
