Peace III - Spaces to be; 'Mapping Identity and Belonging'
A child’s notion of self and sense of identity is both complex and changeable and is embedded in the child’s activities and relationships in everyday settings at home and in the community. PlayBoard's Peace III programme aims to address identity and belonging in terms of good relations and understanding, through use of our toolkit and the up-skilling and informing of practitioners who work with children and young people across Ireland.
At the heart of the tool kit is the notion of the child as a capable and competent explorer, not only of the world around them but also of their own existing and emergent thoughts and feelings.
This tool kit is available in both hard copy and on usb pen drive. A number of information sessions throughout NI, Cavan and Donegal will be delivered between now and March 2012.
