This pack has been developed following requests from those on the ground who 'play' with children. We have collated a wide range of games and activities that we have played ourselves. We hope that you will change and adapt these suggestions according to the needs, ages and abilities of the children you work with.

Pathways to Playcare (the box) contains 6 information booklets and 2 record packs each focused on specific areas of PlayCare development and implementation. The toolkit is accompanied by a Compact Disc (CD), which contains downloadable resources.

Booklets 1-6 are guidance orientated and provide detailed information relating to the development of best practice.

Record packs 1 & 2 are practical tools designed to assist PlayCare provision implement the highest standards.  A Compact Disc (CD) is provided, which includes financial spreadsheets and sample pro-forma documents which are discussed in each booklet.
