DESCRIPTION:PlayBoard is holding a Playday event on Wednesday 2 August\, 10am – 12pm in Ormeau Park (3G MUGA pitch\, Ozone complex)\, Belfast. (This event is FULLY BOOKED.) \n\n\n\nThe free event will have a range of inclusive play activities including: arts & crafts\, music & dance\, traditional games\, loose parts\, den building and more. \n\n\n\nChildren/young people must be accompanied by a parent/carer. Playday is a celebration of children’s right to play\, and a campaign that highlights the importance of play in children and young people’s lives. \n\n\n\nThe biggest celebration of children’s play in the UK\, Playday is the most important date in the play sector’s calendar. The campaign sees thousands of children\, young people\, and communities get out and play at events\, large and small\, across the UK. \n\n\n\nThis year’s theme is Playing on a shoestring – making every day an adventure. \n\n\n\nThe theme focuses on the everyday low-cost or no-cost play adventures that children can enjoy at home\, in settings\, and in our communities. \n\n\n\nPlay opportunities don’t need to involve expensive activities\, costly toys\, or trips to far-off destinations.
