Two changes to Universal Credit have been announced which will apply from October 2021.
The changes include help with ‘upfront’ childcare costs for those moving into work, where eligible parents will be able to claim a grant of up to £1,500, and a £20 per week reduction in Universal Credit affecting all claimants.
A Family Benefits Advisor from Employers For Childcare will be presenting the session and will provide information on the financial supports available to help towards registered childcare costs including Universal Credit, Tax-Free Childcare, Tax Credits and Childcare Vouchers. The session will focus on how these various benefits work and what the upcoming changes could mean for parents and childcare providers.
