PlayBoard NI is delighted to be attending the launch of the Play in the Community Programme on Saturday 27 July at Brownlow Community Hub, Craigavon.

The event gets underway with a play session at 11.00am facilitated by PlayBoard, with a BBQ following at 1.00pm.

Play in the Community is a free, fun new programme for children and their parents/guardians across the Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon areas which will be delivered by PlayBoard and provide opportunities for children and young people with different abilities and backgrounds to play, learn and socialise together. There will also be an opportunity for volunteers to avail of Playwork training.

The Play in the Community Programme will be delivered over the next year across the Borough, with the first stage beginning in Craigavon and held on Green Spaces in Tullygally, Parkmore, Clanrolla/Moyraverty & Drumgor.

These sessions are free, targeted at those living in the communities and conclude with a play session to bring all four areas together. Armagh, Banbridge and Lurgan sessions will follow.

Children/young people/families who wish to take part in the programme can register at the launch event or online at getactiveabc.com/book as first preference will be given to children/young people who have registered on the programme.
