Outdoor Classroom Day is a global movement to inspire and celebrate outdoor play and learning, at home and at school. Outdoor Classroom Day takes place twice a year, which will be 20 May and 4 November this year.

Globally, over 10.5 million children have taken part in the campaign to date, with over 2.5 million living in the UK and Ireland.

Children learn through play, and spending time playing outdoors has many benefits for children’s physical and mental health. The outdoor environment can offer many opportunities for learning, and enrich children’s learning experience.
