With over 30+ years experience in the development and delivery of strategic and operational play services PlayBoard has become firmly established as the lead organisation for play in Northern Ireland.
Over that time PlayBoard has worked closely with government departments, local councils and other public bodies providing guidance and support across a range of areas including the delivery of community play projects; completion of community consultations and the development of play strategies and play investment plans.
As such PlayBoard is ideally placed to offer a range of play consultancy services to the public sector aimed at supporting them to:
Ensure that the play needs of children and young people are considered as part of the policy development process
Recognise the impact of their decision making on promoting or restricting children and young people’s play
Better understand and identify the play needs of children and young people within local communities, and
Target capital and revenue investment in play to achieve maximum impact.
Set out below you will find an overview of just some of the consultancy work areas we have been involved in delivering over recent years. If you would like to discuss any of these areas further, or alternatively would like to speak to someone regarding how PlayBoard can help meet you play needs please contact Alan Herron, email alan.herron@playboard.co.uk
