Director of Corporate Services & Finance

Providing strategic leadership and financial excellence to strengthen PlayBoard’s future

PlayBoard NI – the lead organisation for the development and promotion of children’s play in Northern Ireland – is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Senior Management Team in this pivotal leadership role.

As Director of Corporate Services & Finance, you will hold strategic and operational responsibility for Finance, Human Resources, and Administration – ensuring strong governance, effective systems, and robust financial controls are in place to support PlayBoard’s continued growth and impact.

In this role, you will:

• Oversee all financial and management accounting, ensuring income is maximised and budgets are effectively managed.
• Lead on HR and administration, embedding best practice and ensuring compliance with legislation.
• Provide sound financial and strategic advice to the CEO, SMT, and Board of Directors.
• Support the Board in meeting its legal and regulatory duties.
• Play a key role in organisational planning and the future strategic direction of PlayBoard.

• Contract: This is a permanent post.
• Salary: £49,590 – £52,662
• Location: 7 Crescent Gardens, Belfast
• Travel Costs: Mileage costs reimbursed for any duties carried out in the role.
