PlayBoard held a fully-booked online information session on 22 June focused on enhancing play opportunities in the Republic of Ireland. Progressing the Play Agenda was first in a series of engagements planned throughout 2023 within the Republic of Ireland which aim to explore how we can collectively enhance play opportunities – through play advocacy, policy and strategy development, strategic connections, networking, training, and play delivery across a variety of environments and arenas.
Focusing on PlayBoard’s strategic work in the south of Ireland, the first session showcased a number of approaches aimed at supporting the development of quality play opportunities for children and young people including play in schools, active play, School Age Childcare, the OUR Generation project, and play strategy.
If you missed the session, the recording is now available to watch back.
