Ahead of the inaugural International Day of Play on 11 June, we shared a survey for children and young people looking at the state of play in Northern Ireland today. Updated findings were shared ahead of Playday, with 90% of children and young people saying that play was an important part of their lives but almost half did not have enough time for play, whilst a third said there were very few places for them to play where they live. View report.
Now it’s the turn of children and young people living in the Republic of Ireland to share their views. Together with National Childhood Network, we’re sharing a survey focusing on play and how they like to spend their free time.
