PlayBoard NI is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Senior Management Team in the pivotal role of Director of Corporate Services & Finance.

This post represents a pivotal leadership role within the organisation.  As a member of the Senior Management Team, the post-holder will be responsible for the strategic leadership and development of PlayBoard’s corporate services portfolio. This includes oversight of key functions such as Board Secretariat, Finance, Human Resources, Administration, and Facilities Management. The role is central to ensuring robust governance, operational efficiency, and the effective delivery of internal services that support the organisation’s mission and strategic objectives, while providing effective systems and robust controls to support growth and impact.

The post-holder will also be responsible for providing sound financial advice and management control services to senior colleagues and the Board of Directors, contributing directly to strategic planning and organisational decision-making.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, the successful candidate will:

  • Take responsibility for all financial and management accounting matters, ensuring income is maximised and expenditure is controlled within agreed budgets.
  • Lead the HR and Administration functions, implementing systems and procedures in line with best practice and legal requirements.
  • Support organisational planning and development as a core member of the Senior Management Team, contributing to PlayBoard’s ongoing growth and impact.
