Salary: NJC Salary Scale 6 pts: 20 – 22 (£26,446 – £27,514) prorated down to 28 hours. (Salary scales are currently under review)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and resourceful Finance & Administration Officer to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of children and young people.  If you have a passion for working with people, helping them through challenging situations, and a willingness to train and learn on the job, we’d love to hear from you.

About the role

As the Finance & Administration Officer, you will work with the Director of Corporate Services & Finance, playing a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of PlayBoard’s finance and administrative functions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing management accounts, invoicing, payments, and procurement.
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Supporting the organisation with general administrative duties to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Filing, financial reporting, and assisting with audits as needed.

  • Proven experience in managing the financial operations of an organisation.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
