All to play for, PlayBoard’s Annual Review 2022, offers a snapshot of work undertaken by the organisation over the year April 2021 to March 2022.

Whilst the impact and legacy of Covid-19 on PlayBoard’s delivery continued to be felt, our dedicated staff team and board continued to adapt to, and address, the many challenges encountered in order to ensure that we met, and indeed exceeded our aims and objectives.

Throughout the year, PlayBoard continued working to promote the benefits of play for children and young people. The pandemic shone a spotlight on the importance of play and how essential it is for children and young people to have the time, space and permission to play, especially following the challenges of Covid-19.

Our Annual Review focuses on outcomes across four strategic areas: opportunities for play; playwork practice; research and advocacy; and relationships.
